Jessica June Wilson Beatty
The Jessica June Wilson Beatty Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory and continue the legacy of Temple College student, Jessica Wilson Beatty. Her family established the endowment in the hopes that her only child, Brentley Brooklynn Beatty will follow in her mother?s footsteps, living everyday to the fullest. Her talent for painting, writing, singing and swimming and passion for music, camping, fishing, boating, dancing and karaoke defined her life. During the summer, you would find her out at Lake Belton building castles in the sand with her daughter on the beach. Jessica?s April 19th birthday fall just one month shy of the scholarship deadline and eligible applicants will demonstrate Jessica?s determination and poetential in the area of fine arts.
Impact
When you get a scholarship in the name of someone who’s passed, it makes it even more important to live your life and hold up their reputation and legacy. It’s like you’re living for two. You have both lives to be responsible for and respectful of.
