J. L. and Bonnell Callaway
The J.L. and Bonnell Callaway Foundation Scholarship was established a year before the death of the Callaways. They wanted to ensure that the students who graduate from C.H. Yoe High School were able to continue their education. Dr. Hope Koch, a Yoe graduate who is now a professor at Baylor sits on the committee and helps inspire and encourage students embarking on their college journey.
Impact
My town might feel small, but we care about each other and we work hard to help each other. When I graduated from C. E. Yoe, I was given this scholarship to Temple College. It definitely helps pay for tuition and makes me feel proud to be from Cameron.
