Ann Chamlee

Ann Chamlee

The Ann Chamlee Endowed Music Scholarship was established in memory of Ann Chamlee, retired in 2008 after many years of service in the Temple College Music Department.

Impact

I will be able to fully pursue my dream of earning a degree in Music without having to search for an additional job. Having struggled over the last few years with health issues and medical debt, the news of this
altruistic award has created a great sense of relief and affirmation that I am on the right path towards bettering my life. Your thoughtful consideration will allow me to have more focused time to practice the
piano, absorb new musical information, and continue to teach the handful of students I?ve acquired. I am so excited to be joining the family of skilled musicians at Temple College and will be actively using
my talent as a pianist in any way needed. Studying music at a higher level will assist me in becoming a better teacher, accompanist, and performer by increasing my knowledge, experience, and awareness.
My greatest desire is to obtain a Masters Degree in Music Therapy so that I can reach out to more members of the community and share with more people the healing power of music.
